Barcelona Rock Fest continues to establish itself as one of Europe’s most important festivals with the addition of new bands that we announce today. Among them, the presence of metal legend KING DIAMOND stands out. Returning to the stage with his unmistakable theatrical show, unique voice, and a career filled with iconic albums such as Abigail, Them, and The Puppet Master, King Diamond has inspired entire generations of musicians. His performance will undoubtedly be one of the most anticipated moments of the festival.

The Danish singer will be joined by a lineup of renowned musicians who have been with him since 2001. The current formation includes King Diamond (vocals), Andy LaRocque (guitar), Mike Wead (guitar), Pontus Egberg (bass), and Matt Thompson (drums). His striking image and voice have influenced many rock and metal artists, including Metallica, Slayer, and Cradle of Filth. As you may know, his album Give Me Your Soul… Please was even nominated for a Grammy.

Here’s a breakdown of the new bands joining the festival:

KING DIAMOND – An absolute icon of heavy metal, presenting his darkest and most theatrical show alongside his classic band.

SOZIEDAD ALKOHOLIKA – Back with a new album, Confrontación, bringing the same intensity that has always defined them.
